Overall Situation

June 2025:

  • Imports: 310,853 metric tons, equivalent to USD 189.61 million.
  • Average Price: USD 610/metric ton.
  • Compared to May 2025: A 33.8% increase in volume, a 29.72% increase in value, but a 3.05% decrease in price.

First Half of 2025 (H1 2025):

  • Total Imports: Nearly 1.52 million metric tons, valued at over USD 985.28 million.
  • Average Price: USD 648.8/metric ton.
  • Compared to H1 2024: A 2.8% decrease in volume, a 2.18% decrease in value, but a 0.63% increase in price.

    Qatar:

    • The second largest market, accounting for 13.3% of total volume and 13% of total value.
    • June 2025: No imports.
    • H1 2025: Decreased by 37.05% in volume and 33.9% in value, but increased by 5% in price compared to H1 2024.

    China:

    • Accounts for 9.29% of total volume and 10.2% of total value.
